Shannon - Registered Dental Hygienist
Shannon graduated from Dental Assisting School in 1990 and worked as a Registered Dental Assistant for 8 years. In 2001 Shannon graduated top of her class from Cabrillo College Dental Hygiene program in Aptos, California. She has been working for Dr. Kupka since June 2002. Shannon is passionate about her field, and this is reflected in her excellent work. Through constant continuing education, she remains abreast of all the latest dental hygiene research and technology. Shannon enjoys spending time with her two boys. She was born and raised in the Bay Area, moved to Colorado in April 2002, and never wants to leave. Special interests include: cooking – especially baking, anything outdoors, shopping, movies, and running the annual wine country half marathon with her sister.

Carey - Expanded Function Dental Assistant
I have been working with Dr. Kupka since 1990 and feel fortunate to be part of such an excellent team. I became a certified dental assistant in 1989 and attended CU Health and Science Center for my expanded duties dental assisting training in 1990. I also have received extensive training and education at Las Vegas Institute along side Dr. Kupka. My favorite aspect of my job is helping create beautiful, healthy smiles and the confidence and happiness it brings to peoples lives.
I was born in Boulder and have lived in Colorado all my life. My interests include boating, water and snow skiing, hiking and snowmobiling. I enjoy spending time with my two children, Zach and Taylor.

Collette - Registered Dental Hygienist, Expanded Dental Assistant
Collette has been in dentistry for 13 years. Collette’s career began as a dental receptionist where she became interested in dental assisting. While working with Dr. Kupka, Collette earned certification as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant as well as other certificates from the Las Vegas Institute. After five years with Dr. Kupka, Collette attended the University of Colorado graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. Collette loves working with and helping patients achieve healthy smiles by providing cutting edge information and care.
