About Dr. Kupka

Just as Dr. Kupka takes great care in getting to know her patients, we invite you to get acquainted with Dr. Kupka.

After graduating from the University of Kentucky Dental School, Lexington, Kentucky, Dr. Kupka established a practice in Boulder, Colorado where she has successfully practiced for over 25 years. In keeping with her commitment to excellence, Dr. Kupka is a graduate of the Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies—a premier postgraduate training facility for Cosmetic and Neuromuscular Dentistry. She continues to stay current in dental innovations through ongoing coursework at LVI, AGD (Academy of General Dentistry) and other offerings.

Dr. Kupka and Pete Montagriff live near the foothills of Boulder, Colorado where they raise quarter horses and buffalo. They share their household with felines Arnie and Frankie, adopted from the Boulder County Humane Society. Like many residents of Colorado, Dr. Kupka is an outdoor enthusiast, often combining her love of the outdoors, horses, and friends while riding in the beauty of the Colorado mountains. Other interests include travel, reading and photography.

Over the years, community service has played an ongoing role with time spent volunteering with the Colorado Therapeutic Riding Center and the Boulder County Dental Aid Association where she also served on the Board. She has consistently supported the auctions and activities of such groups as Boulder County Humane Society, Boulder County Safehouse and Community Action Program, church programs for Guatemalan Dental Aid and Russian Aid Society, and donations of riding horses to a local children's home.
Professional association memberships include: Dental associations: American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, and the Boulder County Dental Association; Community associations: Boulder Chamber of Commerce, various professional women's organizations; Horse associations: American Quarter Horse Association, National Reining Horse Association, and the National Paint Horse Association; Scuba Diving Association: D.A.N.

About The Practice

The 'right dental office' isn't just about the Doctor. Our team of caring professionals shares Dr. Kupka's commitment to providing the highest quality care in a friendly environment. Our staff includes four EDDA's (Expanded Duty Dental Assistants), two highly trained and experienced Hygienists and professional Front Desk personnel to ensure that patients receive individualized, quality treatment. Many in Dr. Kupka's office have completed continuing education coursework through LVI's advanced dental training, consulting agencies and independent offerings.

Timing is everything, especially when our massage therapist is available. Our patients truly appreciate the unexpected benefit of relaxing, chair side massage, and—it's free! 'Comfort' trays with beverages, warm face cloth, medication for possible discomfort and Ghirardelli chocolate help make every dental visit special.
